About our school

Welcome to the website of Ythan Bridge School. We are delighted to welcome you to our new school community, established in the summer of 2025 through the merging of the Foveran and Tipperty school communities. While Ythan Bridge School is a brand new school, it is built upon the rich histories, strong relationships, and proud traditions of two very special communities, each bringing with them a wealth of strengths, experiences, and opportunities. Together we form a bridge across these two communities near the river Ythan.

Whether you are a new family joining us, a familiar face returning, or simply taking a moment to explore our school, we are very pleased to have you here.

At Ythan Bridge School, we are committed to creating a warm, nurturing, and ambitious environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best. As a newly formed school, we are excited to be shaping our future together. Over the coming months and years, we will continue to work closely with our whole school community to develop our shared Vision, Values, and Aims, ensuring they truly reflect who we are, what we believe, and the aspirations we hold for our children. This process is an important part of building a shared identity while celebrating the individuality and character that both former school communities bring to Ythan Bridge School.
